The article contains information regarding the initiative of the SIMPLES knowledge driven systems in the field of electrical machines. For
analytical and numerical analyses of three-phase and single-phase (AC) induction machines among other machines, the development tool, emLook,
was integrated in the SIMPLES Solution framework making human collaboration effective in the Knowledge Management environment .

Introduction
In the article, the software package emLook will be
presented, which is a part of complete simulation platform
known as SIMPLES Cohesive Research and Development
Framework, i.e. Standards-Based Knowledge Management
and Collaboration Technologies Framework for R&D in
progress in the electrical machines industry [1].
SIMPLES Solutions Framework is based on an
aggregation theme, i.e., it is useful for aggregating and
coupling content from multiple data stores and file formats.
It is based on a collaboration theme, i.e., it is designed to
store and share knowledge - logically coupled data and
information files - as well as many uncoupled data files,
documents, and pictures. Yet, for analytical and numerical
